FAQ

What size of group do you recommend for my event?

In general, any combination we offer can work in virtually any setting. Factors to consider include the size of the venue, the number of guests, your personal artistic preferences, and your budget. Many wedding clients opt for a classic ensemble for ceremony and cocktail music, followed by additional classical with some transition to popular contemporary for dinner and/or reception.

Can you accommodate special musical requests?

Absolutely. Custom musical arrangements can be produced for virtually any tune not already in the Fountainhead music library.

When and how do we choose the music for our event?

Music selection is simple and enjoyable. We will offer you guidance immediately following receipt of contract and deposit.

Do you require any special equipment?

Generally, we do not. We provide our own music stands and lighting when needed. We do ask that you provide us with one armless chair per musician. The Fountainhead Ensemble generally provides its own amplification when needed. Inquire for further details.

How do musicians dress for weddings and other events?

For weddings, attire is generally formal black unless otherwise requested. Within reason we can attempt a lighter color and more casual attire upon request.

Will you travel outside the Austin area to perform?

We accept these engagements based on availability. Mileage fee varies with distance. Concert appearances can be arranged nationally.

When and where can we hear The Fountainhead Ensemble live?

Check our FaceBook page for upcoming public events. You may also meet and interact with Miranda Steinle at any Victoria Symphony subscription concert, or you may visit personally with Managing Director Curtis Campbell at fountainheadensemble@austin.rr.com or call 512-627-5729
